Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Veontra governing access to veontra.com, the Veontra web app, the Veontra Copilot desktop app and the Developer API (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" includes the organization.

2. The Service

Veontra is an AI workspace. Depending on the tools you use, it extracts fields and text from documents, answers questions about PDFs, transcribes and translates audio, turns text into speech, and generates images, video, music and 3D models. Results are produced automatically by third-party AI models; Veontra staff do not manually process your content.

Available tools, AI models and their options may change as providers update or retire models. Veontra is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, legal or compliance advice.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Email verification is required before uploading files or generating content. You may sign up with email and password or, where enabled, Sign in with Google.

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with up to 60 credits. No credit card is required. One free trial is granted per IP address; additional accounts from the same IP may sign up but do not receive trial credits.

4. Acceptable use

Use the Service lawfully and only with files and content you have the right to use. You must not upload malware, attempt to breach our systems, scrape the Service without permission, resell access without authorization, or create extra accounts to obtain additional trial or referral credits.

You must not use the Service to create or share content that:

• is illegal, sexualizes minors, or depicts non-consensual intimate imagery;
• impersonates real people or creates deceptive deepfakes, or is used for fraud, spam or misinformation;
• harasses, threatens or promotes hatred or violence against people or groups;
• infringes others' copyrights, trademarks or other rights — for example protected characters, logos or designs you are not allowed to use;
• violates the usage policies of the AI provider that processes the request.

5. Enforcement

AI providers may block requests by their safety filters; blocked or failed generations are not charged. We may remove content, disable sharing, or suspend or terminate accounts if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or pose a security risk.

6. Your content and generated results

You retain ownership of the files you upload and the data extracted from them. To the extent permitted by law and the terms of the AI provider involved, results generated for you — images, video, music, speech and 3D models — belong to you, and you may use them, including commercially. Veontra claims no ownership of your inputs or results.

AI results may be similar to content created for other users, and you are responsible for checking that your prompts, source files and results do not infringe others' rights before you publish or sell them.

You grant Veontra a limited license to host, process, transmit and display your content solely to provide the Service (for example storage, AI processing, exports and support). When you share a result to the public Gallery, you also allow us to display it there until you stop sharing.

You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from people whose personal data or likeness appears in content you upload or generate.

7. AI accuracy

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unexpected. Extracted data can be wrong on poor scans, handwriting or unusual layouts, and generated media may not match your prompt. Review results before exporting them into business systems, publishing them or making decisions based on them. Veontra does not guarantee the accuracy or fitness of AI results.

8. Credits, plans and pricing

The Service is paid for with credits. Each action has its own credit cost — per document page, per minute of audio, per image, per second of video, per song or per 3D generation — listed on the Credit services page. Current prices are shown on our website and in the billing area. As of these Terms:

• Free trial: 14 days, 60 credits, no credit card, one per IP address.
• Subscription: you choose a monthly credit volume from 500 credits ($3.49/month at 500 credits; about $18/month at 3,000 credits). The price per credit decreases with volume. The monthly price is charged every 3 months in advance; the first period includes a 3-month commitment. After that you may change the volume or cancel from the billing page, effective at the end of the current paid period.
• Pay-as-you-go: a one-time credit purchase from $4.99 for 500 credits (about $24 for 3,000 credits), with volume pricing. Credits can be used on their own or alongside a subscription.
• Credits are charged when an action succeeds. Failed generations are not charged or are refunded automatically. When you run out of credits, new actions stop until you buy credits, upgrade or a new period begins.
• We may change credit costs and prices. Changes apply to new actions and, for existing subscriptions, from the next renewal unless we notify you otherwise.

9. Payments and refunds

Paid checkout is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Taxes, invoices and payment methods are managed in Paddle's flow. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's applicable buyer terms.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (veontra.com/refund). Customers may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle on our behalf.

10. Organization accounts

An organization owner may invite team members by email. Inviting members is available on paid plans (subscription or pay-as-you-go with credits), not on the free trial alone.

The organization owner controls billing, and members use the organization's credit balance. Owners are responsible for how invited members use the Service.

11. Referral program

You may invite others with your referral link and receive credits when they sign up and meet the program conditions shown in the app. Self-referrals, fake accounts and other abuse are not allowed; we may withhold or reverse rewards obtained this way. We may change or end the program at any time.

12. Desktop app and Developer API

Veontra Copilot uses your Veontra account and credit balance. Screenshots and voice input are sent to AI providers only when you use those features.

API keys are confidential: keep them secret and rotate them if they leak. You are responsible for requests made with your keys. We may apply rate limits and suspend keys that are abused or put the Service at risk.

13. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages or AI provider limits may cause delays or make some models temporarily unavailable.

We may change features, pricing or these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Veontra disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veontra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service or of AI results.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Veontra in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Termination, governing law and contact

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend the Service for breach, non-payment or legal requirement. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; you may request export or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Veontra's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise.
