Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Veontra governing access to veontra.com and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, uploading a document, or using any paid feature, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company, and "you" includes the organization.
2. The Service
Veontra uses AI to extract structured fields from documents you upload. Supported preset types include invoices, receipts, resumes, bank statements, and ID documents; you may also define custom field schemas.
Document extraction is fully automated. The Service includes an optional in-app review step: extracted fields are not treated as final until you or your team reviews and approves them in the platform. Veontra staff do not manually process your documents. Veontra is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, or compliance advice.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Email verification is required before uploading documents in a full account. You may sign up with email and password or, where enabled, Sign in with Google.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with up to 20 processed documents. No credit card is required for the trial.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and only upload documents you have the right to process. You must not upload malware, attempt to breach our systems, scrape the Service without permission, resell access without authorization, or use Veontra in a way that violates export, privacy, or financial regulations applicable to you.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or pose a security risk.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of documents you upload and the business data extracted from them. You grant Veontra a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service (for example storage, AI extraction, exports, and support).
You are responsible for obtaining any consents required from data subjects whose personal data appears in documents you upload.
6. AI accuracy
AI extraction may be incomplete or incorrect, especially on poor scans, handwritten text, or unusual layouts. You must review extracted values before exporting them, entering them into ERP/accounting systems, or making business decisions. Veontra does not guarantee 100% accuracy.
7. Plans, limits, and pricing
Current pricing is shown on our website and in the billing area. As of these Terms:
- Free trial: 14 days, up to 20 documents, no credit card.
- Subscription: you choose a monthly document volume between 300 and 100,000 documents. Price per document decreases with volume and is about 30% lower than pay-as-you-go at the same volume (for example, roughly $18/month at 300 pages vs $24 for pay-as-you-go). The monthly total is charged every 3 months in advance for that volume. The first subscription period includes a 3-month commitment. After that, you may change volume or cancel from the billing page, effective at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- Pay-as-you-go: one-time purchase of document credits with volume pricing — from about $24 for 300 documents ($0.08/page) down to roughly $3,000 for 100,000 documents ($0.03/page). Credits do not require an active subscription and can be used alongside a subscription. The same extraction features apply to both billing modes.
- Usage limits count successfully processed documents in the current trial or billing period. When limits are reached, processing stops until you upgrade, purchase credits, or a new period begins.
8. Payments and refunds
Paid checkout is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Taxes, invoices, and payment methods are managed in Paddle's flow. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's applicable buyer terms.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (veontra.com/refund). Customers may request a refund within 14 days of the original purchase date. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle on our behalf.
9. Organization accounts
An organization owner may invite team members by email. Inviting members is available on paid plans (subscription or pay-as-you-go with credits), not on the free trial alone.
The organization owner controls billing. Members can upload and review documents within the organization's limits. Owners are responsible for how invited members use the Service.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages, or model provider limits may cause temporary delays.
We may change features, pricing, or these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page. Material pricing changes for existing subscriptions take effect at the next renewal unless we notify you otherwise.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. Veontra disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veontra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of extracted data.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Veontra for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination, governing law, and contact
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend the Service for breach, non-payment, or legal requirement. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; you may request export or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Veontra's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country provide otherwise.
