Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Veontra uses cookies and similar technologies on veontra.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some are set by us; others are set by analytics, payment, security, sign-in and support providers when you use those features.
2. Cookies we set
The main cookies set by Veontra:
- access_token — keeps you signed in during an active session. Strictly necessary. About 15 minutes. HttpOnly; sent only over HTTPS in production.
- refresh_token — renews your session without asking you to log in on each visit. Strictly necessary. About 7 days. HttpOnly.
- locale — remembers your language (English, Russian or Spanish). Functional. Up to 1 year.
- veontra_ref — remembers the referral link you arrived from, so the inviter can be credited when you sign up. Functional. 60 days.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example which pages are visited and how people reach us — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID>, which usually last up to 2 years, and processes data such as pages viewed, device and browser information and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site advertising trackers.
4. Other third-party cookies
These services may set their own cookies or use local storage when you interact with them:
- Paddle — when you open checkout, Paddle may set cookies to process payment, prevent fraud and complete the purchase.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — on registration, Turnstile may use cookies or browser signals to distinguish people from bots.
- Google — if you use Sign in with Google or Google export, Google may set authentication cookies according to your Google account settings.
- Google Fonts — loading fonts may cause your browser to connect to Google servers.
- Tawk.to — our live chat widget may set cookies or use browser storage to run chat sessions and remember visitors between page views.
5. How to control cookies
Strictly necessary cookies (access_token and refresh_token) are required to stay signed in. If you block them, you will not be able to use authenticated features.
You can delete or block other cookies in your browser settings. Blocking locale resets your language preference; blocking veontra_ref means a referral may not be credited; blocking third-party cookies may prevent Paddle checkout, Google sign-in, Turnstile or live chat from working correctly.
We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because we do not operate cross-site advertising trackers.
6. Updates and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology or providers change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
